SHICK (Senior Health Insurance Counseling for Kansas)

SHICK is a free program offering older Kansans an opportunity to talk with trained, community volunteers and get answers to questions about Medicare and other insurance issues.

SHICK offers

free confidential counseling

free publications

help with the Prescription Drug Program, a privately funded program that enables many low-income Medicare beneficiaries to receive needed medications at little or no cost.

Call the Nutrition Office at 913-795-2279 for locations to meet with an area community volunteer.
